 Throughout his career as a global C-suite executive, Sinclair has amassed deep leadership experience in commercial and general management roles.
He has led high performing teams at several  $B+ hightech global companies such as Hewlett Packard and JDS Uniphase, as well at smaller entrepreneurial companies such as Focuslight China and Velodyne Lidar USA

 
Throughout his 35 year career, he has worked and/or lived in the UK, Germany, USA and China, where he has delivered consistently excellent business results in diverse markets such as photonics, consumer electronics, telecommunications, med-tech and automotive. 

Sinclair has a BSc (Hons) in Physics from the University of Edinburgh, an MBA from the OU in the UK and has completed advanced management training at the Haas School of Business at UC Berkely in California, USA. 

He is fluent in German & French and speaks intermediate Mandarin
